Wow!  We've been busy!  So far, over 1,500 students have visited the CFI this school year and we're only on the first week!  We're excited to start training new library volunteers and we're looking forward to getting the makerspace open and design challenges planned.  Stay tuned!!

This past weekend, my family and I placed four Little Free Libraries at area schools:  Walnut Springs, Mark Twain, McVay and Wilder.  We still have one more to place at Hanby once approved by the Uptown Review Board.  Walnut Springs received a grant from James Patterson and Scholastic Reading Club to make this possible. We want to thank #PattersonPledge for getting books into the hands of our students. Since 2015, James Patterson has donated $3.5 million of his own money to save under-funded school libraries nationwide.
