Because of the change in the testing schedule due to weather-related school cancellations, the February 23rd Maker Monday session is cancelled.  Students - feel free to create a ZooBurst book on your own!  If you choose to submit your book to the Digital Storytelling Contest please have them to Mrs. Trimble no later than Thursday, March 5th.

Where Learning Never Ends

Description of Maker Monday

On Monday, February 23rd, students will be invited to the library during seminar and lunch (10 students per grade) to learn how to create a 3D pop-up digital storybook using:

After learning how to use Zooburst, students will have 9 school days to create a 3D pop-up book with the theme "Your School Library:  Where Learning Never Ends".  (Book should be no longer than 10 pages and be read in less than 5 minutes.).  Students will be given computer passes every day through March 5th to work on this project.
3D books will be due to Mrs. Trimble by Thursday, March 5th so they can be entered online in the Digital Storytelling Contest.  
3D books will be linked on the Walnut Springs Schoology course so students can vote on their favorite during the week of March 9th.  The winner will be announced on Friday, March 13th in celebration of:
