Last night was Walnut Springs' first National History Day Showcase. This year's theme was "Rights and Responsibilities". We had close to one hundred exhibits, papers, documentaries and websites representing four months of research.
It was great to talk to students about what they learned and amazing to see how proud they were of their hard work. Over 25 students were awarded with "Excellent" or "Superior" distinction and four students received a "Best In Show" recognition. Those students were:
