Back To School

It's been a fantastic first week of school!  Several classes have received library orientation and have already started checking out books.  I've noticed a lot of enthusiasm for the Author/Illustrator contest (Monthly Events:  August) and have already received one entry from 3rd-grade!  I can't wait to decorate the library walls with all of the amazingly-creative entries!

I appreciate the encouraging comments and compliments regarding the transformation in both libraries.  Several students were surprised by the changes when they visited their school for the first time after summer break.  But, sometimes change is good and hopefully the new arrangements will encourage more efficient and effective library usage.
